THE CREW
There's no need for you to be an
experienced yachtsman. You don’t
need to know port from starboard in
order to have an unforgettable
holiday on one of the yachts.
Although of course you can always
take a turn at the wheel... |
 |
|
 |
Your captain and crew are
experienced seafarers,
usually local Turkish
people, who know the
cruising grounds in and out
and will share their
knowledge and skill with
you. You can leave all the
technicalities in the
capable hands of your
skipper and your crew. |
|
|
In addition to running the
cruise safely and according
to the itinerary, they will
try to assist and pamper you
in every way, from
suggesting suitable
anchorages and arranging
shore excursions, to serving
you cocktails and three
delicious meals a day.
Having a meal under the
stars, whilst the sea is
gently lapping the sides of
the boat is an experience
not to be missed. |
 |
|
 |
For anyone who enjoys a
changing view each day and
is prepared for the many
moods of Mother Nature, a
holiday on a gulet is the
perfect medicine!
Knowledge of English among
your Turkish crew members
varies. You may like to take
a small traveler's
dictionary along with you
for the cruise. Besides
being understood more
easily, it is also a great
way of picking up a few
words of Turkish and a way
to get into the Turkish
culture a little more. |
