Iztuzu Beach is one of the few beaches worldwide where sea turtles come to lay their eggs, making it a protected area under the Turkish Natural Life Protection Association. To help preserve their habitat and ensure their continued survival, visitors are required to follow the designated guidelines upon arrival.

The beach offers a unique natural setting, with a freshwater river on one side and the saltwater sea on the other, allowing visitors to choose their preferred swimming experience.

On your way back to the Dalyan city center, consider visiting the ancient city of Kaunos. A short 10-minute walk to the top offers breathtaking views of historical landmarks, including the ancient theater, Roman bath, Temple of Apollo, and the acropolis. At the city’s entrance, you will also be greeted by the magnificent Carian rock tombs, a striking testament to the region’s rich history.
