Meals on Board
Three meals per day are prepared by our chefs, who have extensive knowledge of Turkish cuisine. Their creations are simple yet delicious, using the freshest ingredients Turkey has to offer. All meals are healthy and nutritious.
The Turkish breakfast consists of freshly baked white Turkish bread, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, fresh seasonal fruit (watermelon, honeydew melon, or oranges), black or green olives, white cheese, yellow cheese, jam or honey, eggs, butter, and freshly brewed Turkish tea and coffee.
Passengers may bring muesli or cornflakes on board if they wish.
Five o’clock tea and coffee are served with biscuits and/or cakes.
For lunch, you will enjoy a selection of Mediterranean dishes, mainly cooked with olive oil and fresh seasonal vegetables, such as green beans, stuffed green peppers, stuffed eggplant, and a variety of fried, roasted, or boiled vegetables, often served with yoghurt or tomato sauce and prepared primarily in a vegetarian style.
Side dishes include rice, pasta, or couscous, along with a generous selection of salads and yoghurt.
For dinner, a well-balanced menu is served, featuring a main course, a side dish, a fresh salad, locally grown vegetables, and either fresh fruit or dessert.Fish (barbecued or fried) is served with mixed seasonal green salad. On other evenings, the main course may include oven-roasted chicken, chicken stew, minced meat, or red meat dishes.
Fish—unless caught by guests or the crew—are sourced from local fishermen. Rice or pasta is served alongside fresh salads and a variety of traditional Turkish dishes prepared with fresh vegetables.
Fresh fruit is served after dinner.
