Operated all year round, our Magic Carpet Tour uncovers some of Turkey's hidden treasures in North West Anatolia.
Day 1: Saturday - Istanbul
Welcome to Istanbul! Pick up from the Ataturk Airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Sunday - Istanbul City Tour (B)
Today we visit the Old City of Istanbul : Blue Mosque, the Haghia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, the underground Basilica Cistern and the Hippodrome.

Day 3: Monday - Gallipoli Battlefields (B/D)
We visit the WWI Battlefields of Gallipoli : Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair, ANZAC Cove, Johnston's Jolly and the Gallipoli Museum.

Day 4: Tuesday - Troy, Pergamum, Kusadasi (B/D)
This morning, we visit ancient Troy, with the world famous Trojan Horse. Pergamum is next on our program, one of the most beautiful cities of the ancient world.

Day 5: Wednesday - Ephesus (B/D)
Today, we explore the marble white ancient city of Ephesus. Our guide takes us to the Library of Celsus, the temples, the Roman latrines, the theatre, the agora. We also visit the Temple of Artemis. We learn at the carpet village how the typical Turkish carpets are made by local women.

Day 6: Thursday - Pamukkale, Hierapolis (B/D)
First thing in the morning, we will enjoy a display of handmade leather goods. This area is famous for its textiles.
Pamukkale is a must-see natural thermal water source, unique in the world, with its amazing calcium terraces. If you like, you can take a dip in the Roman hot springs, and swim amongst ancient remains. We also have a look around at the ancient city of Hierapolis.

Day 7: Friday - Silk Road, Konya, Cappadocia (B/D)
The Silk Road… today we travel along this famous ancient road : the Sultanhani Caravansaray, the Mevlana museum in Konya. Tonight, we can enjoy a traditional Turkish folklore evening (optional), which is a must-do in Cappadocia!

Day 8: Saturday - Cappadocia, Goreme, Underground City (B/D)
We visit Goreme Valley : rock formations beyond belief and fairy chimneys. We also explore an underground city today!

Day 9: Sunday - Ankara (B)
This morning, we depart very early to Ankara where we visit the mausoleum of the "Father of the Turks" Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Then we are on our way back to Istanbul.
(There is also an optional morning flight to Istanbul from Kayseri in Cappadocia)

Day 10: Monday - Istanbul (B)
Our tour ends after breakfast and it is time to say goodbye to our new friends.
